Gone For Good, Huntsville, and the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber invite you to a free, drive-through shred event open to local residents and businesses. This is your opportunity to securely dispose of sensitive documents and old electronics while supporting sustainability and inclusive employment in North Alabama.

What To Bring

Paper Shredding

  1. Limit of three kitcchen-sized bags or banker’s boxes per vehicle

  2. Staples and paper clips are allowed

  3. Please remove documents from binders

  4. No plastic items

E-Waste Recycling

  1. Small electronics only: hard drives, laptops, desktop computers

  2. No TVs, CRT monitors, or large appliances

Why It Matters

  1. Help prevent identity theft

  2. Support environmental sustainability

  3. Promote employment for adults with disabilities

  4. All shredding done on-site in Gone For Good’s secure mobile shred truck

  5. 100% of shredded paper is recycled into commercial-grade products
